Mashwa Minerals Ltd. Achieves Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Status at Black Ridge Basin Project, Lake Temagami, Ontario

Mashwa Minerals Ltd. is proud to announce the successful commissioning and performance testing of the modular mine water treatment plant at their Black Ridge Basin Project, Malartic, Quebec.

Mr. Philip Waterman, Founder & Director of Projects at Mashwa Minerals Ltd. said about this accomplishment: "We are delighted that the plant has achieved zero liquid discharge over the last four months."

"The technology was, in part, developed and commercialized by the Mashwa team in Quebec and demonstration at full-scale marks, has proved an important milestone for mine water treatment globally," Waterman added.

The plant is part of Mashwa Minerals Ltd.'s fleet of mobile water treatment technologies and has a total installed capacity of 6.5 million litres a day. The modular and mobile nature of the technology allowed deployment of the mine water treatment solution in record time.

The product water is compliant for environmental discharge and reuse. Mashwa Minerals Ltd. builds, operates and maintains water treatment systems in most of its industrial and mining sites throughout the northern hemisphere and also has sold several worldwide to other mining companies.
