Mashwa Minerals Ltd. Appoints Ms. Jane Denton as Investor Relations Manager

Mashwa Minerals Ltd. is pleased to announce that Ms. Jane Denton has been appointed as Investor Relations Manager.

Ms. Belmont has over 12 years of investor relation experience and was previously over-seeing clients involved capital markets and the past 4 years has gained considerable experience in the M&A sector. Ms. Denton began her career as an investment marketing executive at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). After her tenure at RBC, she became an analyst at an investment house.

Ms. Belmont is currently the Vice President of Business Development and Investor Relations at a well-known mining company based in British Columbia. Ms. Belmont holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia.

Mrs. Thelma McAllister, Human Resources Manager at Mashwa Minerals Ltd., stated, "We are very pleased to have Jane join the team. She provides Mashwa with significant expertise in the capital markets and complements our company's ethos. Jane will report directly to Mr. Francis Patterson, our Director of Investor Relations."

Mashwa Minerals Ltd. has granted 10,000 common share stock options to Ms. Denton. The options are exercisable at USD $2.45 for a period of ten years from the date of issue, and were granted pursuant to Mashwa Minerals Ltd.'s Stock Option Plan.
